I love class dojo! Why? Many reasons: It's simple and fast. It allows a 2 way confidential connection shared between the teacher and the parents. Parents, if you need to reach me during the day, please dojo me. It comes directly to my cell phone and I usually respond within the hour. If it is a true emergency and you haven't heard from me, please call the office.
Although, I love your children, please keep in mind that I am teaching and I do have to meet the needs of all students before responding to messages on my phone. I do have privacy hours set up after school where my phone will not recieve messages after 6 p.m. but they will come through to me at 6 a.m. the next morning. As for weekends, I will get all the messages on Monday morning at 6 a.m.

Daily I reward dojo points. I try to find ways throughout the day that your child is stepping up to let the leader in them shine. I believe that students feed off of positive energy. This is crucial for the classroom environment! Students are always responsible for their behavior. Here are ways students can achieve points.
Of course, demonstrating the opposite of the above behaviors, will result in the lose of a dojo point. I always stress that if students lose dojo points, they can always earn more points. Everyone is always responsible for their behavior.
